When Dawn and Lyndsey opened Borlands Delicatessen (now known as Deli on the Corner!) little did Stewarton Folk appreciate just what was in store for them. Fresh and varied home baking each day, the most exciting range of "made on the spot"sandwiches, unusual wines, a wonderful collection of jars containing the most delightful concoctions of pickles, relishes and the likes, non run of the mill cheeses and a host of other offerings that would tempt the most discerning of palates. On top of all this we are treated to a constantly sharp and bright repartee on even the most dismal of days from Dawn, Lyndsey and their fantastically helpful staff. I had the pleasure of being the first customer served on the opening day of the Deli and the standard of service has never diminished since then.
